- Folders is a long-time suggested upgrade to SonoClipShare that has just been implemented
- Folders are simply a way to organize your archives or shared archives into various silos
- Avilable for both My Archives and Shared with Me pages
- Note that Folders are unique to the individual user, no one else will see your folder structure
- There is only one flat folder structure, no subfolders are possible
- You do not have to use folders: all archives in My Archives and Shared with Me will be visible in the default folders unless they've been moved to another folder
- There are two default folders that you will see when you first log in
- Trash, and either Main (My Archives) or Inbox (Shared with Me)
- These folders cannot be deleted, and will always be at the top of the folder list
- All new archives in My Archives go to the Main folder
- All newly shared archives in Shared with Me go to Inbox
- When you first log in you will be shown either the Main folder or Inbox folder
- Simply click a folder from your folder list to view it.
- The currently open folder will be highlighted in dark grey, and will have a icon next to it
- Click the new folder button
- Type your folder name, click enter
- You can change the name later
- you can rename, delete, and sort your folders by clicking the icon
- click to edit a folder name, give it a new name and click Save
- click to delete a folder, then click delete to confirm
- Archives in a deleted folder will be moved to Tash and not actually deleted
